Green Cleaning Products, provider of green janitorial supplies and green cleaning products, is participating as a vendor at an exciting event serving the Denver and Boulder area. The Urban Green Summit is in the Denver Boulder area for the first time.
This community changing event is designed to increase the awareness of the energy efficiency technology and renewable energy, as well as the environmental benefits and economic advantages. As a part of the bigger picture the participants will be able to learn the advantages of taking a comprehensive approach by integrating green cleaning products and green janitorial supplies into their package.
The program includes four very powerful, internationally known and respected keynote speakers as well as a dozen amazing sustainability workshops. The keynote speakers are:
- Van Jones, President and Co-Founder of Rebuild the Dream, as well as a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress.
- Phaedra Ellis-Lamkins, Chief Executive Officer of Green For All and a leader for California’s Labor Movement.
- John Francis III, Author and Environmentalist since even before the first Earth Day. He is the author of “Planetwalker: How to Change your World One Step at a Time” and “The Ragged Edge of Silence: Finding Peak in a Noisy World.”
- Andre Pettigrew, the Executive Director of Climate Prosperity Project, Inc. and the former Executive Director of the Office of Economic Development for the City and County of Denver under Mayor John Hickenlooper.
Demonstrating the ability of the Denver and Boulder communities to work together to achieve something even grander for the higher cause of social responsibility through sustainability is even better. The sustainability workshops presented in multiple tracks include powerful topics such as Green Leadership for a New Millennium and Green Project Management.
